To use Cumen, you must:

• Comply with all applicable laws while using the Service.

If you are using Cumen on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining your account and the security of your login credentials.

When using Google Sign-In, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• Keep your Google account secure.
• Notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Cumen responsibly and lawfully. You must not:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes.
• Submit fraudulent or misleading job applications.
• Generate deceptive resumes or cover letters.
• Upload malicious software or harmful content.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or decompile the Service.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data without permission.
• Interfere with the operation or security of Cumen.
• Misuse Google or Gmail integrations in violation of Google's policies.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in abusive or prohibited activities.

5. AI-Generated Content

Cumen uses artificial intelligence to generate resumes, cover letters, summaries, and other career-related content.

While we strive to provide helpful and accurate suggestions:

• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies.
• Content may require editing or verification.
• Generated documents should always be reviewed before submission to employers.

You are solely responsible for the content you choose to send, publish, or share.

Cumen does not guarantee interviews, employment, or hiring outcomes.

6. Gmail Integration

If you choose to connect your Gmail account:

• You authorize Cumen to access only the Gmail data required for the features you enable.
• Gmail integration is optional.
• You may disconnect Gmail at any time through the application settings.

Your use of Gmail integration must also comply with Google's applicable terms and policies.

7. Premium Services and Payments

Cumen offers optional premium features.

Payments are securely processed through Razorpay.

Unless otherwise stated:

• Premium purchases are a one-time payment.
• Prices are displayed within the application before purchase.
• Future pricing may change without affecting completed purchases.

Payments are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or expressly stated by Cumen.

8. Intellectual Property

Cumen, including its software, design, branding, logos, graphics, and original content, is owned by Cumen and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant ownership of Cumen or its intellectual property.

You retain ownership of the resumes, cover letters, and other documents you create using the Service.

9. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create.

By storing your content on Cumen, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store your documents
• Process them to provide requested features
• Generate AI-assisted content
• Synchronize supported integrations
• Display your content within your account

We do not claim ownership of your personal documents.

10. Service Availability

We work to keep Cumen available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

The Service may occasionally experience:

• Maintenance
• Software updates
• Temporary outages
• Feature modifications

We may modify, improve, or discontinue features at any time.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Cumen is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties regarding:

• Continuous availability
• Accuracy of AI-generated content
• Compatibility with every device or browser
• Employment or hiring success
• Suitability for any particular purpose

You use the Service at your own discretion.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cumen and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Lost employment opportunities
• Lost profits
• Loss of data
• Business interruption
• Decisions made using AI-generated content

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for premium services, if any.

13. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Cumen at any time. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms.
• Misuse the Service.
• Engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity.
• Attempt to compromise the security or integrity of Cumen.

Termination does not affect any legal rights or obligations that have already arisen.

If significant changes are made, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of Cumen after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
